Teaching Methods

The class format will focus on the following: lecture, class discussion, group exercises, individual assignments, and group work. Students will be expected to read the assigned readings prior to each component.

Learning Outcomes

Within the context of recent developments in organizations and Organizational Psychology, this course will provide students with knowledge about recent advancements such as selection, training, employee motivation, diversity and organizational justice. A range of contemporary topics will be introduced in order to enrich future editions. Students should leave the course with an understanding of the theoretical and methodological issues in these topics, and an increased ability to critically evaluate and apply theory and findings in organizational psychology.
