None. We recommended, however, some knowledge in the area of Organizational Psychology.
Teaching Methods
Active methods will be preferred, aiming to help students in:
- Designing a lab simulation about virtual teamwork
- Planning an intervention mean a case study about psychosocial risks
- Designing an efficient virtual team
Choosing the best intervention strategy for real work analysis
In line with the objectives defined for this unit and due to the current evaluation system, teaching methods will focus on students, requiring engagement and participation from everyone. Therefore, there will be individual and group assignments, role-paying, classroom presentations, discussions and reflections in small and large groups. Audio-visual materials will be used in class. There will also be a fieldtrip, which is intended to get students closer to actual intervention actions in organizations regarding issues related to the topics studied in class.
Learning Outcomes
This is a course of the 2nd year of the curriculum of the Erasmus Mundus Master WOP-P integrated in the set of units called "Work Psychology". The unit is devoted to the learning of technological or change theories and intervention skills, in the course of Work Psychology, with a total workload of 4 ECTs. Offers know-how concerning interventions in the field of work psychology as well as an overview of approaches for intervention related to the (re)design of work and the optimisation of human work activity.
