Lectures, group discussions, literature review, presenatition of work group assignments on specific topics proposed by the teachers.

Learning Outcomes

With this curricular unit the students should use/develop literature analysis competences with the aim of understanding and critically analysing the basic stages of the evolution of organizational thinking and its implications. Thus, at the end of the curricular unit, the students should be able to identify and critically discuss: the relevance of the role played by the different organization theories in explaining and understanding organizational behavior; the emergence context of organization theories; the theories of reference and the authors recognized within the literature; the emergence of new forms of organization, its characteristics and implications; the new trends and perspectives in organizational behavior.
