Presentation and discussion of work based upon the following thesis themes:
1. Temporal Lobe Epilepsy with Mesial Temporal Sclerosis: Contributes of standard and innovative neuropsychological instruments for memory and emotion assessment;
2. Differentiation of memory functioning in vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s disease: A study with Wechsler Memory Scale - 3rd edition (WMS-III);
3. Adaptation and validation studies of the CANTAB-Alzheimer (The Cambridge Neuropsychological Test Automated Battery for Alzheimer’s disease);
4. Study of the encoding process in persons with schizophrenia;
5. Vision and cognition in early Alzheimer’s Disease: Contribution of new diagnostic tools for new classification criteria (BD/FCT);
6. Functional mapping and neuropsychological assessment for epilepsy surgery;
7. Color constancy neural correlates: A multimodal approach;
8. Heroin-dependent neuropsychological profile: addiction, abstinence by substitution treatment.
