Teaching Methods
The teaching methods are:
1. Learning by practice: active pedagogies
2. Focus on problem solving.
3. Autonomous group work.
4. Autonomous answer to real situations of exhibition production.
5. Project methodology based on direct relationship with authors, guided by the project-concept based teaching model
It is also important to highlight the contact with artists and curators present at the College through the PhD in Contemporary Art and the possibility of sharing equipment and technical and workshop material from the exhibition galleries.
Learning Outcomes
1. To develop autonomous points of view on curatorial practices;
2. To inform about the different complexities of the various curatorial working fields (curating collections, working in museums, working in alternative spaces, working in art galleries).
3. To put the student on the situation of making effective choices;
The following skills are developed:
1. Being able to develop an autonomous and authorial curatorial project;
2. To be able to negociate and work in team;
3. To be able to adapt to different typologies of curatorial work (mediation and education, editorial, programming and production) and in different areas: from the performative arts to cinema.

Curare: History and Theory of Curating II: Curating and participation; Curating and authorship; Curating and mediation; Curatorial projects: from idea to experience_between teory and practice; Curating and activist practices; Curating and acessibility; Workshop I: Research Practices: (LAB) / Practice Based Research; Seminars and masterclasses with artists and curators; conception and development of a curatorial project, as a team, for the exhibition spaces of the Colégio das Artes, in the context of the partnership with the Contemporary Art Biennial of Coimbra Anozero or with the National Museum of Contemporary Art and UmbigoLab.
