Teaching Methods
Following one-on-one tutorials with a supervisor the student will be evaluated by the presentation and defense of the Thesis Project, both written and orally.
Learning Outcomes
The student will use skills perfected in previous courses to prepare a Thesis Proposal, focusing on creativity, leadership, initiative, planning and organization. The student must be able to convincingly convey the merits of the proposal, as well as perceived difficulties and possible alternative strategies

In close collaboration with a Supervisor (or several co-Supervisors) the student will prepare, present and defend a PhD Thesis Proposal which should be both innovative and have international merit. The proposal has to include A Literature Review, the Goals, and a Detailed Description of the taks to be performed throughout the experimental work. All staff will be available for this course, but each student will make their own choices in terms of supervisor selected, and therefore create an individual path. THe appropriate Thesis branch will be chosen depending on the workplan proposed
