Lecturing; seminars; oral presentation of papers by the students and critical assessment by the lecturer and the remaining students.
Learning Outcomes
The unit aims at: 1) understanding the relationship between the “general part” and the “special part” of criminal law; 2) understanding the specific role of criminal law as a means of regulating the distribution and access to property; 3) understanding property as a criminal law legal interest (“strafrechtliche Rechtsgut”) and the architecture of the incriminations that are built upon it; 4) acquiring the necessary dogmatic tools for the correct construction and application of the norms providing for the most emblematic offences against property; 5) acquiring the ability to develop a coherent and substantiated critical analysis of the doctrinal and jurisprudential trends regarding crimes against property.
