Teaching Methods

In the 1st half is given to theoretical and students will individually develop their topics.

In the 2nd half, Thesis Proposal evaluation procedures are as follows:

Exposure Thesis Proposal 20 minutes. Each member of the jury has 5 minutes to put questions that the student answers to all the questions. The jury will meet and decide the candidate's result.

a) Thesis Proposal is approved,

b) conditionally approved subject to change or

c) refused.

When conditionally approved subject to change, the supervisor should collect and draw up the conditions for reformulation and score a maximum of 30 days for delivery of corrections. The student must submit a new proposal to the Evaluation Committee for an opinion by the (s) supervisor (s) of approval or disapproval.

Each Coordinator Thesis must inform in writing the Director of the delivery date of the corrections program and later, the outcome of the Evaluation Committee decision

Learning Outcomes

The Orientation Seminar aims at preparing proposals for the thesis of each student and takes two semesters. It is organized so that, in the 1st semester, students are exposed to theories and working methods for the preparation of a thesis, both humanistic component, such as the scientific component, and individually discuss their topics with visiting professors and your tutor.

From the 2nd half, organizes the discussion of oral presentations of doctoral candidates. These are concerned, the preliminary form, topics that participants intend to develop in their dissertations. At the end of the year each student will not only have to submit your dissertation or part of it in the form of conference, and answer questions from an audience not necessarily academic, but also participate in the discussion of the conference of his colleagues.

Syllabus

This course aims to prepare the student for the academic year as a Ph.D. candidate with the Tutor support in the first half and his Thesis Advisor second half onwards.

It is developed primarily a pre-thesis submitted for assessment of guest teachers and PDAPEU teachers, subject to comments and requests for review to obtain larger unit, feasibility on time PhD, thematic unity and databases available for identification the demonstration of the thesis.
