Teaching Methods
The seminars consist of presentations of the different versions of the theses projects and their comment according to the above mentioned methodological and substantive requirements. The evaluation consists of the defense of the project before an academic jury, which is decisive to allow the elaboration of the thesis.
Learning Outcomes
This unit is aimed at following the process of elaboration of each student’s thesis project. In order to reach that goal, the seminar sessions have as objective a continuous assessment of the accomplishment of a set of methodological requirements – clarification of the departure questions, of the hypotheses, of the working plan, of the inclusion of cases studies or not, etc. – as well as of substantive requirements – literature review and state of the art, and specific contribute to opening new paths to the understanding of the chosen topic – in the definition of the thesis project.

There are no pre-defined programatic contents for this unit. In case a thematic grouping of different projects is possible, debates of texts with critical or innovative approaches to those common themes are organized, intending to establish an enriching dialogue between those pre-projects and the main arguments of the selected texts.
