Learning Outcomes

-To describe the main areas of normal psychological functioning  (ie., perception, emotion, memory, etc... )
- To integrate the contributions of Health Psychology to understand the health behaviors and the illness behaviours.
- To apply the principles of behavior modification to the health promotion and disease prevention.
- To approach the illness in a non-linear model, understanding human beings as complex systems, and the illness as being caused by a multiplicity of factors (ie., biological, psychological and social).
- To conduct a clinical interview and a resumed psychological assessment.
