Theoric and practical classes: on these classes the teacher discusses clinical cases or reports with the students in an active dialogue

Practical classes: these classes are for practical work with problem based learning in small groups.

Learning Outcomes

Develop and improve skills on making relations about molecular, morphologic and functional changes with the clinical presentation;

Get conscience about the use of morphologic and morphochemistry studies for diagnosis, therapeutic establishment and prognosis;

Get conscience about the new issues on Pathology, important to the development of medical sciences;

Get skills of evaluation and decision on different clinical situations;

Relate the data from morphology and molecular studies with the organic and functional changes;

Use molecular and morphological studies for the evaluation of biological and biopathological phenomena and relate it with clinical cases;

Get skills on spelling (written and spelled) and discussing the results of molecular and morphological studies;

Recognize the need of morphology and molecular studies, its indications and limitations.
