Teaching Methods

The methodology of teaching will focus on the process of assimilation and progressive construction of the theoretical and practical knowledge by encouraging critical thinking and autonomy through lectures and practical classes in the wards.

The lectures are intended for large groups and primarily serve the objectives of the knowledge. They are especially suitable for the main contents providing structured and systematic information on the most important aspects.

Learning Outcomes

Medical Pathology has the primary purpose of enabling the student to acquire knowledge and develop skills in specific areas of Internal Medicine especially those whose knowledge is essential to the practice of Dental Medicine. It will address the pathophysiology, diagnosis (clinical and laboratory tests) and treatment of the pathologies taught.

The main themes will be selected to raise the student interest, encouraging the interpretation of semiotics, the development of diagnostic hypotheses and the development of a diagnostic and therapeutic strategy.

It is intended that the student will be able to:
