Clinical practice lessons dedicated to the preparation of cephalometrics, diagnosis, treatment plan , and orthodontic treatment in children and adolescents.
Learning Outcomes
Orthodontics II:Theoretical.Toacquire and interpret the theoretical foundations of the biological basis of orthodontic treatment for subsequent use in craniofacial deformities of different complexities.Clinical.acquire experience in diagnosis and ortho. treatment (preventive.interceptive.corrective) of different types of malocclusion with increasing complexity and demand;be able to do a proper case history of orthod;Applying removable and functional appliances in children and adolescents . ODP: Theoretical.Toacquire and interpret concepts based on clinical specific situations. Clinical.To acquire, under supervision, knowledge in diagnosis, preventive and operative treatment (restorative, pulpar, surgical treatment) in clinical situations with crescent difficulty;to master behavior management techniques; to know pharmacology and its use in pain control; to deal with emergencies and urgencies;to provide adequate treatment options to special health care needs patients.
