Each topic was addressed in the form of lectures by experts from each area. The evaluation was performed at the end of each module and the final classification was the result weighted average of each module.

Learning Outcomes

Addressing the recent advances in surgery on the problem of drug and drug research. Discussion and analysis of various issues arising from these developments in light of ethical concepts apply to the drug and its research. Provision of concepts that articulate ethics in health treatment and the patient. Analysis of some case studies relevant to the resolution of problems arising from the professional and scientific support for health professionals.

Syllabus

Clinical Research. Contemporary drug groups: analysis of various issues related to their research, marketing and social consequences; case studies in Portugal. The process of industrialization and globalization of drug production and drug; case studies in Portugal. The health problems of today and their relationship with the pharmacy and medicine, study of some issues in Portugal. Medicine and society. Ethics and deontology: codes of ethics and codes of deontology, drug research, clinical trials, prescription and sale of drugs under the ethical and deontology, research laboratories, pharmaceutical industry, hospital pharmacies and dispensing pharmacy. Some case studies in Portugal.
