Learning Outcomes

Teaching of rehabilitation medicine in geriatrics; the student must know the general principles of rehabilitation in geriatrics and understand the specifics of this special population. The student must be able to demonstrate that medical rehabilitation is a structural / fundamental intervention in the function and quality of life of geriatric patients.

Rehabilitation concepts,   function and geriatrics, pathology of immobility, falling and rehabilitation medicine, support products and technical aids , comunitary rehabilitation, continous care and rehabilitation.
