Degree in medicine or dentistry.

Teaching in class (lectures) and PBL.

Learning Outcomes

The student must know the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic limitations that come with aging.

The student must understand and make rational prescribing in the elderly and must know the limits the prescription of the main groups of drugs in the elderly (psicomodifiers compounds, medicines for pain, cardiovascular modifiers, etc.)

The skills to be acquired are the capacity of rational prescription of  drugs in the elderly.
