Lecture method associated with the use of pedagogical practices that promote independent work of students and their active participation in the learning process, such as presentation and discussion of texts and individual  work.

Learning Outcomes

This unit aims to contribute to critical learning of new knowledge in the field of Sociology of Training and Non-Formal Education, emphasizing other educational realities beyond school education.

Understand the historical development of non-formal education in the context of social transformations of the second half of the twentieth century;

Know the multiplicity of contexts, practices and actors in the field of training and non-formal education

Understand the dynamics of local development projects and their relationship to formative processes and non-formal education

Problematize the relationship between non-formal education, training, and social participation.
