Teaching Methods
Exhibition and exemplary method , using power point presentations corresponding to each of these points. Presentation and discussion of cases and examples whenever possible.
Presentation of documents and reference literature for complementary training , and bibliography available in pdf's of the documents.
Indication query sites mentioned including by reference entities (WHO , APA , DGS , ACT, SLIC ICNIRP).
Learning Outcomes
To establish the interaction between environment and health and evolution of the concept of health and environmental factors that condition , identifying the framework for environmental health in the context of public health ( the Brundtland Report to the Budapest Conference) , due to the environment interaction / health, and the WHO guidelines on environmental health.
Define the environmental determinants and environmental impact assessment in support of environmental determinants of health , and evaluation of health impacts , and applying the criteria developed by WHO for its definition and formulation of public policies and harmonization with the associated exposure policies arising from work activities .
It is intended to identify risks , complementary and multidisciplinary approach in the field of occupational exposures , capacity building for policy development and intervention projects to ensure gains in environment and health.
