Teaching Methods
1. Seminars according to the main topics of the program;
2. Practical discussion of clinical problems: Tutorials for learning based on clinical problems presented by the teatcher. Students must identify relevant facts of a clinical case, making the correct diagnsis and therapeutical plan.
Learning Outcomes
Sport traumatology aims to complete the knowledge acquired in Orthopedics basic course, giving skills to be able of dealing with the sports traumatology :
- Clinical examination on sports traumatology;
- Knowledge of the main pathologies of overuse identifing the disease and carry out the necessary preventive actions;
- Knowledge of overuse muscle and tendon;
- Knowledge of the main disease related to sports activity.
