Recommended Prerequisites

Basic knowledge about bodily injuries and the objectives of the different areas of Law, namely, Criminal Law, Civil Law and Labour Law.

Teaching Methods

Lessons with powerpoint presentations and handouts used with theoretical content on the methodology, relevance and implication of the evaluation of body damage in different areas of Law.

In practical classes will be presented and discussed case studies of evaluation of post-traumatic bodily harm allowing students to apply the acquired concepts. Later following exposure of the final conclusions will be promoted a final discussion of the case.

Learning Outcomes

The student must understand the theoretical and practical relevance of evaluation and compensation of post-traumatic bodily harm in the different fields of Law, particularly in Criminal Law, in Labor Law and Civil Law.This module of Master will respect the general objectives of medical education and will focus, above all in understanding the methodology used to carry out a rigorous medical exam for the global and personalized assessment of the personal damage.

The student must develop the competence to draft and correctly interpret an evaluation report of body damage evaluation.
