Teaching Methods
This curricular unit gives priority to lectures and active learning methods, although other methods and strategies will be used in classes.Taking in consideration the theoretical-practical matrix of this Curricular Unit students will debate practical cases, discuss interventions, analyse documents (e.g., legal normatives), and compare practices (e.g., through the comparative analysis of projects and reports), all of those examples of active approaches. In adittion to content exposition interrogative (e.g., analysis of practices) and demonstrative methods will also be used.
Learning Outcomes
This course concerns the critical analysis of different models and methods of Social-cultural Animation and Local Development. Its main goal is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to design, develop, manage and evaluate different programs of Socialcultural Animation and Local Development.

1. Critically analyze the conceptual and practical specificities of the field of Socio-Cultural Animation and Local Development;
2. Design, develop and evaluate Social-cultural and Local Development Animation Projects and Programs;
