Field work, using maps and appropriate equipment for the specific objectives defined each year, always supported by a guide book prepared specifically for this purpose.
Learning Outcomes
The objectives of this course are to observe the landscape and analyze its contrasts, through the identification of its landforms, land cover and its changes, demographic realities, environmental risks and potentialities, applied to a specific territorial unit. The site will be different every year depending on the specific circumstances of the previous year, and also because one of the aims is to show the geographical diversity of the Portuguese territory.

Students will be assessed on the basis of their active participation in field work and on a written report that may consist of an overview of the field trip, or focus on one of the topics addressed in a more detailed manner.: 100.0%
