Recommended Prerequisites

It  is expected that each student may have acquired theoretical knowledge and developed readings that allow a first draft of the PhD project. The  “Research Seminar I” classes aim to create the appropriate conditions to reach that purpose

Teaching Methods

The teaching method is based on tutorial guidance provided by the head of the curricular unit. But is also important to note that this orientation is complemented with the supervision of the thesis advisor, especially when this supervisor is already defined before the completion of the "thesis project II" (which happens frequently).

Learning Outcomes

To improve theoretical am methodological skills necessary to design and writing of a thesis with a demanding standard of quality. This curricular unity corresponds to a 1^st level of qualification, to be developed on Thesis Project II.

Assessment
The evaluation of the final quality depends on the content of the thesis project that is defended before a panel of at least three teachers (qualification prove).: 100.0%
