Lectures and theoretical- practices based on clinical cases

Practical lessons in small groups

1 - Training in of anthropometric data and nutritional prescription

2 - Nutritional State Assessment and bases for the prescription of a nutritional medical therapy.

Learning Outcomes

Student must know the principles of healthy food and know how to evaluate nutritional status and body composition of the individual , interpreting deviations related to the life cycle or with underlying pathological factors .

Student will develop theoretical skills on Nutrition and Diabetes , Nutrition and Obesity , Nutrition and Chronic Kidney Disease , Malnutrition , Nutrition in the elderly and Nutrition and Cancer , from the point of view of diagnosis , prevention and treatment.

Themes will be developed and discussed issues related to the nutrition of patients with eating behavior disorders .

We will discuss the principles of Artificial feeding , its clinical interest especially in chronic diseases, in intensive care environment and others.
