Learning Outcomes

Main goals:

To provide students with deep theoretical knowledge that enable them to:

 - understand and critical evaluate, the processes at stake, at different levels, in groups and in intergroup relations (IR), with a special focus on current societal issues;

- evaluate and intervene in issues of cultural diversity and on the resolution of problems in the field of IR, particularly in European current societies.

 

Learning outcomes:

- to be able of analysing, interpret, discuss and evaluate, based on a deep psychosocial knowledge, the role of groups and IR in the processes of decisions and of social change, of identity, prejudice, discrimination and social justice in the context of current European societies;

- to be able of using these knowledge as tools for a critical evaluation of concrete situations  and for the promotion of social inclusion, rights and democracy in the different social frameworks where intergroup relations took place
