Teaching Methods
Both the pedagogic methods and the evaluation system are the most suitable regarding not only the actual situation of incoming students but also the heavy demands of the program. There will be lectures on the topics outlined in the syllabus and in-class discussion on the students’ questions and findings.
The evaluation will take into some account the level of class participation. Nonetheless, for the instructors the written and oral final exams are the main source of information on each student’s performance.
Learning Outcomes
Course on Introduction to Law for graduate students should aim at two complementary objectives: render future jurists sensitive to the meaning of Law (which ultimately involves the freedom and responsibility of the individual person), and mediate to them the specific kind of reasoning they are supposed to engage in their legal decisions.
