The unit requires concepts acquired in the fields of Molecular and Cellular Biology, as well as Histology.

Teaching Methods

Theoretical classes complemented with laboratory/practical classes based on the use of anatomic models manipulation and resolution of worksheets under consultation in the classroom.

Theoretical evaluation: 2 midtem exams (the approval requires the minimum of 7,0 points, both in the midlleterm exams and in the final exam).

Laboratory/practical evaluation: 2 midterm exams (the approval requires the minimum of 3,0 points, both in the midleterm exams and in the final exam)

Learning Outcomes

Students of the unit should acquire key concepts about structure, morphology and function of different biologic human systems, namely integumentary, skeletal, joints, muscular, nervous and endocrine. A mandatory objective is the integrative knowlegde of Histology, Anatomy and Physiology of the referred systems.
