Theoretical component (70%):

  • written exam
  • lecture taught by students

Laboratory component (30%):

  • written mini-test concerning the execution and interpretation of the functional tests performed
  • written mini-test concerning anatomical models of the organs and systems included in the syllabus
  • laboratory evaluation of histological preparations of organs and tissues included in the syllabus
  • presentation of a lecture by students

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course unit, the student will be able to:

  • understand and describe the anatomical, histological and functional organization of the human body, correlating the form, the histology, the function and the regulatory mechanisms of the various organs and systems (part II).
  • perform and interpret simple assays with clinical application in the functional and histological evaluation of various organs and systems.
