Compulsory
1st Cycle Studies
Recommended Prerequisites
Analytical and laboratorial chemistry
Inorganic and Organic chemistry
Biochemistry
Teaching Methods
The schedule of classes (T; PL), support material and bibliography are provided at the beginning of the semester.
Lectures are preferably expository. Moreover practical problems are proposed in order to ensure a proper understanding of the program.
Several experimental procedures will be performed in PL classes (supported in previous lectures) and the students are evaluated by their autonomy, rigor in execution, and proper interpretation and discussion of results.
Learning Outcomes
Study of atmospheric, aquatic and soil chemistry
Evaluation of the effect of human activity on the environmental systems
Development of analytical techniques in environmental samples
Development of environmental friendly processes, replacing classical methods.
