The curricular unit is designed to achieve the following competencies:
a) Solid knowledge and understanding of the main remedies available in the European judicial system
b) Knowledge of fundamental freedoms and allowed restrictions
c) Knowledge of the main features of competition policy (scope, actors, powers, purposes, exceptions)
d) Knowledge of the main features of environmental policy (emergence of, national importance, objectives, core principles and key areas of intervention)
