Learning Outcomes

This curricular unit aims provide to the students a solid knowledge of the social psychology theoretical fundamentals that allow them to:

- understand the psychosocial processes at stake, at different levels of analysis, in groups and in intergroup relations, highlighting current societal issues;

- developing abilities of critical analysis and theoretical, methodological and epistemological reflexion in the abovementioned fields of study.

Learning outcomes:

- based on solid psychosociall knowledge, be able to analyse, understand and evaluate the role of groups and intergroup relations in behaviour and decison-making, as well as in identity processes, social change, prejudice and discrimination in current societies;

- be able to use these knowledge as tools to understand and critical analysing concret situations where group processes and intergroup relations occur, and take into account their implications for psychosocial intervention in those domains.
