Learning Outcomes

This curricular unit is aimed to promote reflection on the dimension and local intervention in the field of education within a context of an increasing decentralization of educational administration. It aims to provide students the ability to critically analyze the role of the local, municipalities, community and other organizations in local development.

 

Students are expected to develop the following skills: learn concepts and theoretical perspectives on the relationship between education / local development; critically analyze policy issues and practices in education within the local context.

3-   Educational Projects and local development. The challenge of the Educating City and the possibility of civic and educational centres.
