The course provides theoretical and practical classes, with the presentation of the main topics followed by the resolution of real data exercises and empirical applications performed with the use of SPSS, AMOS e MAXQDA software.
A mixed assessment system is used, comprising individual works and a written test.
Learning Outcomes
The objective of this course is to further the knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods to allow a more informed choice of instruments to be used in research.
Doctoral students should be able to choose and apply the most appropriate techniques of data analysis to the research that they will develop in their thesis.
