Recommended Prerequisites

Competencies and knowledge obtained in previous courses are essential for a successfully thesis project.

Teaching Methods

The work will have an interactive nature. Discussion and synergies between the works to be undertaken by students will be stimulated. Based on the goals of each student, it is expected that the group can take advantage of the individual advances.

Learning Outcomes

  The aim of this course is to drive doctoral students to develop, discuss and finalize their thesis project.

Upon the completion of this course, doctoral students will have their research project meeting the conditions required to be submitted for approval by the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Economics, and to proceed with the development of their doctoral thesis.

 - The construction of the research project

- Identification and discussion of the objectives and conceptual framework of a dissertation

- The elements and limits of the literature review

- Research methodologies

- Research methods

- Presentation and discussion of the project thesis with a panel of experts

Note: The work will take place within the framework of the research to be carried out by each doctoral student.
