Recommended Prerequisites

Scientific knowledge in the area and of research methodology as well as competences of oral communication and academic writing, defined as learning outcomes of the 1st academic year    

Teaching Methods

Tutorial supervision by the supervisor  throughout the whole master thesis preparation process, and these may encompass the following formative components:

1) Participation in seminars which contribute to the updating of the themes under study;

2) Collaboration in investigation projects to which the supervisor is associated;

Learning Outcomes

The main objective of this curricular unit is the development of a master's thesis under the guidance of a teacher, providing postgraduate students to acquire competences needed to conduct a research project in the area of educational administration.

Specific competences:

- Make appropriate use of methodologies and research techniques in education;

- Master the scientific writing and the procedures associated with the publication of scientific articles;

- Aware of the ethical procedures associated with scientific research in education;

Transversal competences:

- Communicate accurately and clearly with the scientific and educational community and society in general, using various media
