Teaching Methods

Tutorial monitoring (face to face) of the PhD students throughout the whole master thesis preparation process (by the supervisors), and these may encompass the following formative components:

1) Participation in seminars which contribute to the updating of the themes under study;

2) Collaboration in investigation projects to which the supervisor is associated.

Learning Outcomes

The main goal of the master thesis supervision is to provide the students with the acquisition of necessary competences to the guided conduction of a research project in the area of  Social Education, Development and Local Dynamics

Specific competences:

- training in the autonomous management of the investigation project, mastering of the methodology and used techniques, problem solving, mastering of scientific writing and the procedures associated with the dissemination of scientific articles with pair revision, mastering the ethical processes associated with the scientific investigation in education.

Transversal competences:

- communication competences with the scientific and educational communities and with society in general, using several supports;

- competences for preparing a brief presentation of a scientific work;

- competences in mastering team work.
