Teaching Methods

Each student chooses a dissertation topic , which submits to the approval (s ) supervisor (s ) the Master's Thesis .

This proposal accompanied the advisor's statement is subsequently approved for coordinating the Master in Experimental Pathology and the Advanced Studies Office of FMUC.

Learning Outcomes

The Master is completed with the preparation of a dissertation . It is a research work , supervised by a doctoral supervisor and who may be accompanied by a coorientador , internal or external to the University of Coimbra , depending on the specific theme to develop .

The student with the supervision of the advisor selects a theme in the theme of the master's level and this is the depth in his dissertation .

The student carries out a research work , using the most appropriate methodologies. Should get a thorough

knowledge of the subject selected for thedissertation and must be enabled with the following skills:

a) appropriate level of written expression ;

b ) ability to manage and organize information ;

c ) Ability to analyze , synthesis and critical reflection ;

d ) Ability to work interdisciplinary themes ;

e) Ability to generate new ideas and to sustain before a jury.
