Teaching Methods
The unit has a dimension theory and practice and covers different methods of teaching and learning, including: Sessions of the theoretical exposition, the analysis of texts and seminar. This type of education focuses on the construction of spaces and times of presentation and discussion of curriculum subjects from the presentation of exploration work theory and practice by the masters or research relating to research conducted or in progress in the area of intervention social. This methodology emphasizes the sharing of experiences among peers and critical and reflective analysis of the various theoretical founders of innovative practices in the social field and its implications in a logic of entrepreneurship.
The unit integrates the contribution of experts and professionals in the field of social intervention, and articulates with other master’s units.
Learning Outcomes
This unit aims to:
Transmit knowledge about the paradigms underlying the current interventional procedures, its conceptualization and operational potentialities.
Facilitating the acquisition and development of skills in critical analysis on the relationship between operational and theoretical knowledge and values about the importance of context in building initiatives of social change, integrating the innovative and strategic dimensions of social entrepreneurship.
Students are expected to be able:
To make a critical reading of the guidelines of contemporary social intervention
To identify the guiding paradigms of innovative work practices
To identify the ethical and strategic dimensions of social intervention;
To analyze the practical implications of the options underlying the processes of innovation, change and promotion of personal and social development
To master scientific information in order to promote adequate professional skills to social entrepreneurs.
