Pratical Studies III - Judo

Recommended Prerequisites

Good fiscal condition and knowledge in Anatomy (locomotion system) and physiology (cardio respiratory system).

Teaching Methods

Using the problem resolution teaching style and the oriented games to increases the implication. Training methods and teaching methods acquisition in practise. Evaluation: technical-tactical (35%), progression (35%), participation (30%).

Learning Outcomes

Knowing the main groups of judo techniques and their opportunities. Be able to use a progression for judo initiation with problems solving teaching style. Learn exercises and games for warming-up and strength training.

Syllabus

TP 1 and 2 : Falling, throwing, immobilising, with discovering near of the mat. TP 3-8 : Throwing backward, forwards, attack on all four, and in between the legs. Falling in rolling, throwing blocking or sweeping throw, throw with the back and one or two support. Training forms. TP 9-14 : going out of the legs, attacks with strangle and arm lock. TP 15-17 : revision, history and objectives.
