Basic knowledge of both micro and macroeconomics is required.
Teaching Methods
Most classes are expositive classes in wich are used slide shows. In some classes exercises are solved.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the learning process the student will be:
Have a good knowledge of the main theory contributes to the “Regional Science”
To be able to apply some elementary methods ofregional analysis
Know reasonably the Portuguese territorial data base
Be able to discuss about regional and local policy
Have some knowledges about European cohesion policy for the period 2014-2020 and the consequences to Portugal.
