Familiarity with the Internet environment and its tools (search, online storage, sharing and communication, etc.)

Teaching Methods

These classes of more theoretical aspects will be interspersed in the normal teaching plan where appropriate for the practical approach to new areas and applications. The transmission of practical knowledge, necessary for the conduct or supervision of multimedia projects, will use concrete and practical examples and targeted exercises and will take place in computer rooms equipped with computers and appropriate applications.

Learning Outcomes

The final objective of the curricular unit is to provide students with the necessary knowledge to master an area as involving and actual as Multimedia. Specifically, it is expected that the student will master the areas of Multimedia Design, Multimedia Databases and Digital Editing of Multimedia Data (text, sound, image, video, ...) and know how to combine them conceptually, and in practice, using applications for the integrated development of Multimedia Systems (for the web, for interactive CDs, for the creation of digital presentations, etc.).
