Sports for Children and Youth

Recommended Prerequisites

Biology, Mathematics.

Teaching Methods

The teaching load is composed by 90-minute session per week in an auditorium and a supplemental session of 90-minutes in the laboratory. Finally, students will have access to original support texts elaborated by the teachers. The evaluation corresponds to three assignements ar the end of each block.

Learning Outcomes

[1] Understanding the ecology of human development;

[2] Describing the lifecycle in terms of aquisition and refinement of motor patterns and skills;

[3] Ability to use conceptual and instrumental tools for studying human variability.
