Teaching Methods

On this course unit syndicate group will be stimulated and the lecturing will be profoundly interactive, evolving its participants in the session animation. There will be an attempt of evolving the students in their learning process, always as possible, shaping it to the image of its individual interests, namely, and its investigation preferential areas. The presentation of the several concepts and methodologies shall be always done with the support of cases illustrative examples.

Learning Outcomes

Be able to make a clear research proposal: a) identify, delimitate and justify the relevance of a subject/problem; b) identify specific work questions; c) operationalize key concepts to the elaboration of a conceptual framework; d) describe and articulate the main characteristics of the instruments of data collection; e) draw and justify a coherent investigation strategy; selection of an appropriate data collection method; f) formulate the main and potential reasoning behind to a given research proposal; Know a set of investigation methodologies and be able to analyze critically its potentialities and limitations; Be able to build and validate some data research instruments, in particular, with resource to questionnaires and interview scripts; Know how to apply quantitative and qualitative methods in the data analysis.
