Theoretical practices, individual and group tasks specific to the content, reading books, book chapters and articles, access and use of specific databases and watching videos.

Learning Outcomes

The aim with this module is to promote interest and knowledge of sports psychology in order to master a set of content that will understand and frame the scope of activities and objectives of sports psychology. Acquire theoretical and practical knowledge about methods and techniques specific to this area, which for planning and action together with the athletes, in order to help them overcome situations of mental instability arising from the competition. Similarly, to understand the contribution that sports psychology can play in improving individual performance, both in athletes and in young elite athletes, coaches, referees and parents of athletes, as well as methodologies and current issues of research in this area.
