Teaching Methods

Communicative and action-oriented approach, based on tasks:
Varied activities such as exercises and group work, focused on different components, namely: oral and written comprehension and expression, as well as grammar and phonetics.

Learning Outcomes

Students should reach level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

Students should have reached the Council of Europe Language Level A1* of competence in French. A student at the A1 level can be expected to:

- understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type

- introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
