Recommended Prerequisites
Students must have successfully completed the curricular unit of Financial Accounting I
Teaching Methods
The curricular unit works with theoretical-practical classes, combining theoretical exposition of the syllabus contents (using NCRF and illustrative examples, in order to foster interest and discussion with the students), with resolution by the students, under the guidance of the professors, of practical cases in a manual, particularly suitable to complement the problems theoretically developed.
The slides (and other supporting material) will be made available on the Inforestudante platform.
Learning Outcomes
It is generally intended in this course that students apply the methodological and conceptual instruments acquired in the course of Financial Accounting I, while deepening the knowledge of the system of preparation and disclosure of accounting and financial information, which proves to be essential to support decision-making by the users of the financial statements.
One seeks to transmit a solid training in core areas of Financial Accounting (intermediate training), in conjunction with the legal and accounting aspects associated with them.
Specifically, students must be able to fit the main operations in the respective cycles of an economic entity, and articulate them, following the normative guidelines, with the financial statements where they must be reflected and reported.
