Explanation of key content accompanied by legal norms with the support of a datashow. Frequent questioning of students requesting the critical assessment of concrete cases. Critical analysis and resolution of cases

Learning Outcomes

Overall objectives: To acquire a general knowledge of Law of the financial institutions and markets.

Specific objectives: a) to understand the law - principles and rule of law – and its role on regulation and supervision of the financial institutions and markets.; b) to understand, in general, the relationship between State, law and financial system and, in special, the juridical regulation and supervision of financial system; c) to recognize the institutions, activities and financial markets; d) to know the financial instruments.

Constitution and financial system.  Principles of financial Law.  Regulation and supervision.  The institutional structure of financial supervision. Financial institutions.  Financial intermediation in general. Instruments and financial markets.
