Teaching Methods

With the view to develop in students the capacity for a modern interpretation of physical and chemical phenomena based on theories and computational tools, the course will be organized in classes and conferences delivered by specialists in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry and seminars presented by the students.

Learning Outcomes

Promote knowledge on modern concepts in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry. Stimulate self-learning capability through preparation of seminars by the students.

Syllabus

The course focus on advanced subjects about molecular electronic structure, theoretical chemical dynamics, and use in computational simulations. This will  encompass a variety of topics covering from atmospheric modeling to drug design, and the computational study molecules with biological interest.
