Teaching Methods

The provisional supervisor (a supervisor designated for this curricular unit only) discusses and supervises the planning work and, when  this is concluded, makes a proposal for a jury composed by academic staff members and researchers, with expertise in the field; the student is then submitted to a public examination for discussion of the proprosed project.

Learning Outcomes

According to "Regulamento de Doutoramentos da FCTUC"  the purpose of this curricular unit is to defend before a jury a plan for the thesis work as well as its practicability.
