Recommended Prerequisites

1st year of the 2^nd cycle completed.

Teaching Methods

The student will be placed in a research group, in industry ou in an equivalent lab and will have the opportunity to use acquired knowledge for carrying out the project. The results will be discussed with the supervisor and co-supervisor.

Learning Outcomes

The objective of this course is to professionalize the student by carrying out a research project while integrated in a research group or an industrial project, under the supervision of a faculty member with possible co-supervision. the project involves the use of acquired knowledge during the first and second cycles, improving interpretation, discussion and presentation of the results obtainded, as well as to be able to plan future work.

Syllabus

The project involves supervised and certified lab work in chemistry for a year. After this time, the student must hand in a written dissertation, with the obtained results which must be analysed and also discussed in an oral presentation.
